Our Story

We believe that God is with us and that he has called us into his Kingdom for times like these. As you are aware, our world is in dire need of help, healing and hope. God called us to the Gulf Coast over twelve years ago, and began a work in us. We believe that he is also able to complete it through the power of Jesus Christ! After many trials, heartaches, and pains, we willingly surrendered to the call of God to Pastor a community of people who are also willing to be an extension of God’s help, healing and hope. The ministry began organically during the COVID-19 pandemic through family bible study on Zoom. It eventually led us to discipling our neighbors and before we knew it, there was Resurrection Service in our living room, which led to meeting every Sunday out of our home. Eventually we had to find elsewhere to hold services and began holding service in a banquet hall on the Gulf Coast. After 2 years of consistency, and having services in a school auditorium, the Lord blessed our congregation with a building. In a few short years we expanded from the 5 of us to over 100 congregates. This is only the beginning of what the Lord is doing for us as COH! We look forward to seeing God take us to new levels in HIM as we grow together, both naturally and spiritually.

Community of Hope Church is big on community! Our vision is to provide resources to help, heal and give hope to our community! Outreach is one of the many ways we are able to bring hope to the community!
